I don't know if this is the right thread but …
Just wondering if anyone can help my issue with iCloud and Pages.

I have a document I am working on in Pages. It is about 60,000 words or 80 pages. I work on two iPads (both pro’s ) and a MacBook Pro. Syncing between the 2 iPads or between the MBP to iPads is instantaneous. But when I sync between the iPads to the MBP - it either takes ages to update or I have to reboot to force it to update. It doesn’t happen with calendar or Notes - just Pages. All versions of Pages are up to date, on the same Apple ID and I am on the same network.

Its a pain because I have to be careful before I start work on the MBP - in case it hasn’t updated and I get conflicting versions (which brought my attention to it in the first place).

I though it might have been the size of the document but why would it be instantaneous syncing the other way (MBP to iPad) or between the iPads ?

Anyone have any suggestions to how I fix it permanently? It shakes my faith in iCloud because I have to check whether its updated.

Thanks

I had a similar problem keeping my iPad 2017 updated. AppleCare couldn't fix it, on my own I figured out if I did a manual backup on the iPad it forced it out of its sync funk. Worth a shot at least.
