Hi everyone,

hoping to get your advice. Just upgraded to Catalina and immediately noticed one thing: when I try to use one of my favorite keyboard shortcuts "Paste without including formatting", it just... doesn't work. It's still where I added it, in the "Keyboard shortcuts" section, and it shows the combination I've created. But whenever I try to use it, nothing happens.

Am I missing something? As it works fine on my other Mac with Mojave.

Thank you for your advice.

Hmm. Did you actually name it "Paste without including formatting"? The title you give a shortcut needs to match the title shown in the app's menu bar. In this case I assume that would be "Paste and Match Style."

There is already a global shortcut for Paste and Match Style, although it requires four keys (Shift + Option + Command + V), which I find a bit annoying and hard to remember. I've thought about making a simpler shortcut, but don't use the feature often enough to prod myself into action.
