That’s all I do use also, I just thought it was funny that their top in app purchase was just “Calculator”
Search for "42s" in the iOS app store. It's an extremely good emulation of the classic Hewlett Packard 42s real-world calculator, now updated to 64 bit for iOS 11 compatibility. Note: like it's real-world counterpart, it is RPN (reverse Polish notation) entry.
For a more traditional algebraic entry calculator I like RCL-59, which is an emulation of the classic TI-59 scientific calculator.

The Calculator is free with ads but I paid the $4 to get the version without ads and with various colored themes. The default theme is same color scheme as the iOS 10 calculator for iPhone.

I use Calculator Pro HD. $1.99. Simple in portrait mode and scientific in landscape. There is a lite version as well.
Not sure how long the sale lasts, but at least for now, the full paid version of PCalc (not the lite version) is available for both iOS and macOS for $0.99... this is 90% OFF from the original price.
