No software to unlock your baseband, but you can get it IMEI unlocked, your IMEI is put in the apple database of unlocked phones and will be unlocked for good.
try the different threads in this forum for IMEI unlocking.

NO it wont cause Ultrasn0w only unlocks 1.59.0 on the iphone 4, not the 4.12.01

Do some reading up on the forum and how a IMEI unlock works, there are a lot of sites now that offer unlock services ranging from $9 till $150
