Anyone else experiencing painfully slow iCloud Photo uploads on iPhone 13 Pro?

I'm getting this on both WiFi (50Mbps ISP upload speed) and 5G (around 200Mbps).

Today it took about 40 minutes to upload 4 photos.

Only started happening on my new iPhone 13, my previous iPhone 12 those 4 photos would be uploaded in a matter of seconds.

I know this is an old thread, but I am having the same problem on an iPhone 13 Pro. I took 4 videos of different people speaking at my mother's funeral service yesterday, and before I can copy it to a Sandisk lightning-port USB thumb drive to share with my sister, iCloud insists on uploading it to the cloud first. It has been sitting at about 10% copied since yesterday afternoon, saying "Uploading 4 Items", with the phone plugged into its charger, and the progress line has not moved at all. This is extremely frustrating, as I'm wondering if these videos are ever going to upload to iCloud. Any ideas as to how I can speed up the process?

I'm on a 50Mbps WiFi connection.

[UPDATE]: So now, after about 3 hours, the progress bar is at about 75%. It's a mystery to me why it stayed in the
same spot for nearly two days, and now it's uploading faster. At this rate, it should be done in an hour or so.

What is your upload speed of you WiFi connection? If your internet is via Xfinity/Comcast, 50 mbps download would indicate between 3-5 mbps upload, so yeah, at those upload speeds, it will take ages to upload anything. There is probably nothing wrong with your phone or iCloud, but the choke point is your upload speed - not download.
