Paintbrush equivalent?

On my macs I use paintbrush app which seems to be a mac version of MS paint.

It is fine for basic stuff.

Is there an equivalent for ipad pro that is free or low cost to play with?

I'm going to borrow my fiancee ipad pencil and want play around a bit before spending out on a premium app.

You can do super-simple sketching in Apple’s Notes app in iOS 11. For something more advanced, I believe Autodesk Sketchbook is free for the basic set of tools:

I highly suggest Paper by 53 - great free app!

I would also second Sketchbook by Autodesk - LOVE that app! I have the paid version, but it's good across devices.
