Painting My Messenger Bag

TimBuk2 was offering messenger bags with canvas panels - sadly, it looks like they've been discontinued

Nonetheless - I was able to snag one and my sis painted a depiction of the California Bear (from the California State Flag) on it - I love her artwork and I love my latest bag

I've had a lot of dreams fulfilled in California, thus, I feel good whenever I see my bag - the California Bear only makes me think good things

Ok I sense a conspiracy. 2nd thread about someones sister painting something of theirs .

But otherwise it looks kinda cool .

She did a pretty good job There are a few things I touched up in Ps to show you where she can improve a bit. The snout should be a little longer and fuller and have a black nose. The eye should be a little bit smaller like a triangle on its side almost. And the ears should be a bit rounder. Tell her she did great and to keep painting and studying her subjects for simple shapes to get a good outline. That's great you are proud you're a great brother.

HOLY CRAP!!! Actual constructive criticism about this person's items. It is so nice to see that. I am literally standing and applauding you right now. We could have really used you in the other thread about the laptop.

LOL Thanks, I actually posted in that laptop thread first before I got here. I sometimes have gut reactions too but I don't post them so harshly like a lot of members do. I take a minute to think about what kind of person is posting (younger, excited, older, newbie.) and go from there. Obviously, both posts were excited enough to upload pics, so it sucks to see members immediately tear them down.
