So, I lost the original remote for my ATV and would like to pair my new iPhone with it.

Is this possible?

Just download the free Remote app from Apple's app store.

Thank you Cave Man.

I actually did that, but it tells me to go into the ATV's settings and select remote control. I can't do that without the original remote.

Add: Basically, the original was paired and it seems the only way to do this is to get another original and hold down the FF and Menu key. I would like to avoid this if at all possible.

PHEW!!

I went digging in my sofas and actually found the original remote!! It was in a very odd crease to say the least.

There should definitely be some sort of work around for this. :apple: can't expect people to go out and buy a new remote.
