Pairing with TV. Dolby Atmos ?

Hello everyone. First post, so be gentle.

I have just paired my Airpods Pro with my Sony TV. So I went onto the Netflix app on the TV itself, and selected a show with Dolby Atmos. It sounded pretty good to be honest, but I was wondering if anybody knows whether the output to the AirPods is in fact sent in Atmos… or just a decent stereo sound ?

It is just stereo. The direction of the sound doesn't change when you change the direction of your head, meaning spatial audio is not working.
