Pajatzo has now been the best selling application in the Finnish App Store for three weeks! I dropped the price to $0.99 for the Holidays.

Here's the youtube link (it's not shot by me, rather by a quite new player. I assure you that you can learn to play accurately with the accelerometer controls as well)

So I made a simulation of the Finnish cult classic "pajatso" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Payazzo), which isn't perhaps the smartest thing to do business wise due to the limited market. But really, the game is fun and - if i say so myself - quite well done. You launch a coin by nudging your iPhone and you try to hit certain targets with it. Should you succeed, you win more coins. Simple enough, but challenging. After you master your use of force, the game takes on a puzzle like feature. You have to hit every target in order to maximize your score, as the jackpot can only payout coins from the middle slots. Oodles of fun! Try and beat my score of 133 coins in normal mode.

You can also flip your phone around and see the coins tumble around the device or just control the gravity to better hit your targets! (uses the same physics engine as crayon physics for realistic coin movement)

Anyway, at least check it out on App Store.

It's a tier 2 app, so it runs you $ 1.99 or 1.59 €.

I'm trying to get a video for you to see on youtube, just need to get my hands on a video camera. Anyway, rest assured, it does give you a nice "wow this is cool" effect when you try it for the first time. (followed by an urge to beat my high score :)

Just checked out the video on YouTube, looks pretty cool actually with the gravity control and being able to flick your finger, slap the side of the phone or shake it to get the coins to shoot out. Looks like nice smooth animation too.

I think I will be getting this as it is currently on sale for 99¢. Worth a try for a buck!

Hope you like it! Thanks for your comment! (and reminding me to post the youtube link here!)
