Anyone tried this yet? I think it's like an emulator for that music pad thing.... sorry, forgot the name. It's $0.99. Seems pretty cool, just wondering what other people think before I buy it. (I don't like having too many apps ).
Ahh, just found what you are talking about... haven't tried it but it's only .99 cents, why not give it a go? You can always delete it if you don't like it.
I downloaded it today. It's not the nicest looking app but it works great. It's so easy to use. The next update (submitted) will actually save the song when you quit. And future updates will add more layers, sounds, and stuff (hopefully an export to comp!!).
Here's my creation (turn it up, recorded with iMac mic).
I bought this. It's a very neat, if a little simplistic, app. It's essentially emulating the Yamaha Tenori-on. A very quirky (and pretty expensive) hardware sequencer.
Have a look at this if you want some more information on the original Yamaha product. http://www.global.yamaha.com/design/tenori-on/
There are some good vids on YouTube of it in action too.
Anyway, think of this app as a 'Tenori-lite'
It would be nice if it could save patterns, or maybe transmit them as midi over wifi back to a Mac somehow. But hey, it's dirt cheap and pretty good as it is. So I can't grumble about it. But I look forward to seeing what extra features may come in future updates
