Palm TX sync problem

I put this on the end of another thread, but thinking people might not see it there...
I am having difficulty syncing a Palm TX with a new iMac G5 (my father's - home for the holidays trying to salvage a "switch"). I can't for the life of me get the Calendar to sync. I have tried HotSync manager, and tried iSync. The address book seems to sync OK, as does the to do list (if I use Hotsync). But no matter what, nothing happens to the calendar. Not on the Palm Desktop software, not on iCal.

Has anyone run into this? What should I do?

Try reinstalling the HotSync software maybe? It might not have installed correctly, or there could be a new version available that's compatible with your setup.

I did that - is there a way I should uninstall everything and then reinstall it? I used the disk that came with the Palm - but wasn't sure if I left anything on the computer that may be still interfering.
