Pane-buttons unresponsive in all browsers

I´ve been having this problem for a while now. Both on Snow Leopard and in Mountain Lion.

Wether I´m using Safari, Firefox or Chrome, the button for opening a new pane is often times unresponsive. Sometimes it just don´t work, and I have to click on it five to six times before it works.

Same goes for the close-button on panes. The "X" if you will.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried Googling a solution? Checked Apple's forums? Can't always expect people to answer.

To answer your question–no, I've never had a problem opening a new tab or closing a tab.

Have you tried googling the answer to this? Instead of asking me I wish you had googled if I had I had googled the question to my answer you feel I should have googled first.
