Many moons ago when I first JB I did homework on tweaks via YouTube , Google and followed most of the guides and inserted what I didn't at first realise was to be shady repos for cracked tweaks. My bad.
After learning more and coming across glitches as these tweaks were sometimes out of date / cracked I soon caught up from posts here and elsewhere, deleted the tweaks and shady repos and bought the tweaks via Cydia.
My experience was a learning curve.
I do agree that we
have to support the developers. I understand why some want to test out tweaks before buying which drives some to this alternative method. They then delete the cracked version and buy them. Hopefully.
I recall past discussions where it could be an idea if possible for the developers to add a free trial period or maybe lite version to try out for a limited period before buying.
Yes most tweaks are not expensive but on the flip side for some of the younger generation this can be different for their disposable income so being able to try before buy would be a good avenue.
Anyway sorry I digress
