Hi,

Is there an app that you can use for taking 360 degree photos?

My mate showed me his Nokia phone on which you could press the button and then move the phone around 360 degrees and it would produce a perfect panoramic picture automatically. Any chance of this on the iPhone?

Thanks.

I like Pano. Does a great job.

Thanks, I just had a look but it seems you have to take numerous photos, one after the other. My mates you just pressed the button once, then swung the camera through 360 degrees slowly, then it automatically produced a picture. I'm after something like that.

Your mates are probably using Sony cameras that have this feature. This requires hardware to shoot the whole panorama while holding down the button. The are the only cameras with the hardware. For the best iphone experience and results I also recommend Pano. Easy to use and great images.

Never used this before (I'm a fan of the Pano app myself), but the following might be what you're looking for: Video Panorama
The EASIEST Panorama Tool ever! No multiple shots! You only need to take a short video! (For iPhone 3GS only)

Nice, looks like a great app, but reading the current reviews, seems like it just doesn't work with iphone 4 yet. As soon as it's fixed, I will probably get it.
