Paracord Apple Watch Band?

So a friend of mine has been making Paracord Bracelets for awhile and we got to talking this morning. I said to him " It would be cool as hell if you could somehow get my apple watch with a paracord bracelet "

He sent me some info and is going to make a couple use the shackle image I have attached. He is hoping that maybe others would be interested in purchasing. He is doing this as a side gig. He is a photographer by trade and does this as a hobby.

I have attached a couple images of things he has done and posting this to gauge interest. He is going to be using Apple Watch lugs and doing a black with black paracord and also a white or red with the silver lugs for me. Once those are done I will post images.

Let me know what you guys think

I really enjoy the concept, but the reality let me down.

It actually looks good, just a bit chunky for me. Very nice industrial feel though, I like it with the body style.

What if you use thinner paracord?

I like the look of the woven cord, although think in the case of the black version above it's too narrow width for my tastes, but can't imagine that metal 'clasp' would feel good hitting into desktops, laptops, etc. That would be a killer for me.
