parallel desktop anti virus?

I am running xp sp1 on my macbook with parallel desktop?? Do I need a firewall and antivirus? What is the worst that can happen?

what kind of damage could it do? Cause I don't really care if windows gets messed up cause I can just reinstall it like a program with parallel desktop. But would a virus//hacker damage os x as well?

I've been wondering the same thing...on the comments of a you tube video I read that that if you did get a virus it would stay on windows... but then I came across this...

I still want to make sure... I'm really hoping I dont have to go throe all that trouble of downloading an antivirus and stuff...
