Hi,

I've got Parallels 13.1 installed on High Sierra and Im unable to install macOS Sierra into a VM.

I keep on receiving this error:

macOS could not be installed on your computer

POSIX reports: The operation couldn't be completed. No such file or directory.
Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.

Obviously I've done what it suggests and this problem also exists when trying to install El Capitan.

Any ideas?

I was able to install Sierra & El Capitan in Parallels 13. Some of the old instructions don't work.

Cloned (duplicated) Yosemite VM.
Renamed to macOS Sierra
Dragged the Sierra installer to Desktop on VM and ran installer.

I think this link is the one that worked for El Capitan. Made the macOS image file.hdd file to install.
