hi,

i installed windows vista on my macbook pro.

and i bought and installed gears of war, and it says my system doesnt meet the minimum requirements.

my macbook is 2.5ghz and 512mb video card and 2gb ram.

is there something i need to do in order for the game to work?

because i assume from the thread title that you are running vista through parallels, which doesn't use all your system hardware

Install vista through bootcamp if you want to play games.

As perfectly as they do on windows. When you run bootcamp, you are running windows at full speed, just as a Sony or Dell does. The game will work.

It would be the same thing. You need to run Boot Camp in order to play anytype of recent 3d game.

Basically vm ware uses its own hardware specifications, say you have 2 gig of ram, vm ware will allow windows to use 512 mb etc etc. This is why the game wont work on vm ware as it is sharing the hardware. You need to natively run windows to play this kind of game eg bootcamp
