Parallels and VMWare with Boot Camp

I currently have Parallels connected to my boot camp partition. I'd like to try VMWare Fusion and use it with Boot Camp as well. Can I have both apps installed at the same time and alternate using them with my Boot Camp or would that cause problems.

Also, anyone know if accessing boot camp through VMWare will require me to enter my Windows license again like Parallels made me do? I'm not sure I have any attempts left with this Windows license.
