Hello!

I have a frustrating problem, maybe someone here can help me solve it:

I am running Parallels Desktop v 18, on Mojave Mac Pro.
These are compatible according to chart at this site:

Machine is MP 4.1->5.1 with X5690 and 64Gb RAM.
Disk is PCI SSD (this is concidered EXTERNAL by OSX from what i know, maybe this is issue?)

I installed Win7 and Win10, 2 different enviroments on the virtual PC, they both give same result.

When i try to access any documents from the OSX enviorment it fails.
I cannot access any files/documents at all.

I anctivated the file sharing features from the Parallel app but there is no connection.

I have used this very same app before, and it worked greate. This was on Monterey. No settings had to be made, however i had to allow access from OSX to allow this. But now in Mojave it doesnt work at all. Usually download, desktop and all these folders are mirrored between OSX and WIN. However it is not the case now, and i cannot even move files in to the windows installation, basically hampering all the usefulness of the installation. I used same software installation files and DVDs in both cases.

Also copy-paste does not work. Not even text can be copied between the installations.

Does anyone have a clue about how to fix this, i tried googleing the issue but seems nobody has same problem and posted it.

Install Parallels tools, and turn on Share Mac files. That's it. A folder with Mac symbol appears on Windows desktop.

try running with system integrity protection off. You need to set up using recovery mode and then go to terminal to deactivate it. I was having hangups when using mojave to load into my 2014 macmini, then after I turn off SIP, it loads fast. There are youtube videos on the subject or just google it.
