I just got my 20" iMac, let it do its self updating, etc.. I downloaded build 1848 of Parallels thinking I could install it and get XP up also....The system just locks up every time I start the VM. I used the default settings. I click the VM to start, the screen shades grey and I get a multilingual message to hold the power button in to restart the system, no mouse control, no keyboard control, nothing...Is this a known Core 2 duo issue with the build and is that why the release candidates are out there? Any other suggestions?

To answer my own question RC1922 of Parallels seems to be working fine.

RC1922 stalls in the middle of Windows XP install :(
It's been 2 hours stuck in "33mn left".

Any idea of what might cause it ?
This copy of XP works fine, I even used it to install in VPC previously.
