Parallels offline activation

Hello forum

Since I heard that Parallels does support drag/drop of files between the MAC-desktop to the Windows desktop
I am contemplating about buying Parallels.....

Question:
Does a Parallel-owner get a license-file in order to offline activate Parallel or is an online connection
required for activation AND usage?

Depends on the version I believe. I have a subscription for Pro, and it gives me a code to use or I can just login to my account and it’ll check for a license/sub.

I don’t know if the code works offline though.
