Have you ever installed Parallels, Windows 7 Prof and Quickbooks on an iMac, more specifically in an Apple network? If so, please raise your hand.

I want to know if this works. A Mac business tech a few years ago said that for our <10 user network we could use a MacMini as our file server (with the QB data file on it) and have our user in a Mac environment with QB running on Parallels (QB does not offer Apple simultaneous user licenses). This would save THOUSANDS over replacing a PC server not to mention a better user experience.

I’ve been running QB Enterprise on an iMac via Parallels for years. Currently on Windows 10 but I’m sure I started on Windows 7. I don’t have multiple users accessing the company file in my case but there is no reason this would work just fine.
