The mini can still accept 3 GB of RAM.Where did you hear that- Apple states a maximum of 2gb?!
Apple doesn't offer 3 GB of RAM but it does support it.http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP...1164001/wo/cd5c5zqJS4Zm2jhHzItIV7xGlYJ/2.?p=0
Where do u see the option for 3gb?
OWC sells 3 GB kits. I believe there are a few conflicting reports about 4 GB support as well. The operating system may report 4 GB as available but the 945GM chipset limits you to 3-3.25 GB.I'm happy to say you were right and I thank you for pointing that out - it's a great help! I wonder why i can't see that stated anywhere on the Apple's website but I did find it on other sites. I also see references to support for 4gb!
I have no idea why Apple is silent about 3 GB in the Core 2 Duo Macbook and Mac mini. How else can you upgrade it? And why doesn't Apple say it's 3gb really?
