I just purchased a new 3.0 gHz iMac. My first intel mac.

I installed vista ultimate on bootcamp, and installed parallels in OsX, using my bootcamp partition.

Windows is running fine in bootcamp, but it's REALLY sluggish in parallels. First, the moving circle next to the mouse arrow will freeze and then go really fast to catch up, then freeze and go really fast again, like it's studdering. Also, if i minimize or maximize a window, I watch the window shrink or get bigger realllly slow. And if I try to play any music it's studders and skips.

I wasn't expecting flawless performance, but I figured it would be a little better than it is. Obviously I did something wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions? I already uninstalled parallels and reinstalled. And uninstalled the parallels drivers and reinstalled. same problems!

i've tried all different values, from 500 MB to the max. Same problems.
