Parallels with NTFS Bootcamp

Is it possible to run on a NTFS hard drive. I partitioned my HD to allow 50GB for XP and bootcamp. Now trying to install Parallels, I am getting disk errors. Is it because my Mac HD cannot write to the NTFS HD?

I'm confused - Parallels is a Mac OS application, not a Windows one.

It will only install on your Mac partition, which can't be NTFS - unless you mean something else?

My windows partition is NTFS, not Fat32. Is parallels not able to use this partition because of this?

This is the error message I am getting:

Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware. Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information.

Any ideas?

Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but can tell you it's possible.

Have a MBP, the bootcamp partition is formated NTFS and I use Parallels to run it, no problems (outside the occasional beta-esque bug).

Update: I must have had an older version of Parallels. I downloaded the newest build 3150 and tried again. Everything is good now.
