Paranoid/OCD question... Could a frayed USB cord affect sound quality or something?

Would that affect the quality of music or video transferred to my iPhone??? Like I REALIZE this may sound really paranoid, but I have OCD so I need to know. Could it make songs sound worse than if I had a non-frayed one???

It will be all or nothing with the files. either the file will work, or it won't. there won't be any degradation in sound quality, it will just corrupt.

mine has looked like that for sometime now, and i havent had problems with sound quality.

it won't affect sound quality. The nature of digital signals makes it so that it either works or it doesn't. There's no in-between.
