Hello all,

I hope this is the right forum...

Right, I have a meeting in Paris on the 12th at 2pm in the centre of town...
I've never been to a Mac conference before, heck, I don't even own a Mac, but I plan on getting one at the end of the year....and was thinking that I could maybe go in the morning...

So, can anyone go and is it free?

Is it worth going?

Thinking about it, I don't know if I'll have the time to go, as I get there that morning, and will probably be leaving that evening, except if I have to stay a couple of days...

Is anyone else going?

It's not free, but it's pretty cheap (12€). Link to info.

If you can swing it, I'd go if for nothing else than to see a ton of Apple-related products, and potentially get first-hand sightings of new equipment.

Our hearts go out to all the Apple Expo Paris attendees in the audience, for Steve Jobs will not be giving a keynote yet again this year. In fact, there won't be any keynote at all. A show representative confirmed this keynote-less announcement with Macworld UK, citing that, while Apple has seen "significant" market share gains in France lately, they also mention the whole 'open up your FairPlay, or else' issue the French government is trying to force on Apple.
Can anyone vouch for this?
