For some reason ever since upgrading to IOS 11 I cannot see my Parked car in the maps app. I have Bluetooth in my car, and parked car is enabled in the settings so what else could be causing this problem?

I think it will only show after you completed an active navigation session, not just having it connected and park your car. mine only remembers my parked location after I use maps to navigate to my destination and turn the car off. having it connected and listening to music but not using the nav, it won't store the parked location.

Mine used to say updated without using the nav. It still shows on the map it just doesn't give me the notification any more.

I have had a lot of location problems after the most recent two iOS 11 updates. The issue you described started, also all of my location based automation tasks in HomeKit stopped functioning. Coming home to a hot house and no lights despite being set up to start cooling as I leave work and entry lights all turning on upon arrival all went belly up. I was able to fix the Automation stuff by changing the location within task to another address then flipping it back.

I have yet to find a solution for the parked car scenario, if anyone else has any tips for things that worked for them please share. I've tried everything that I can think of short of reformatting and starting fresh. Too big of a hassle for such a little benefit to me.

I will try that and see if it fixes the problem.

This shouldn’t be the case, it should mark your location after disconnecting from Bluetooth. I just got out of the car and it worked for me. I restored as a fresh device on Wednesday and haven’t used turn by turn navigation.

That is how it works for me and is exactly what  says it should do. No navigation required, just a bluetooth or Carplay connection during the drive.

And if I’m not mistaken, Apple recently made it so that it can pin your car even without Bluetooth. It detects movement and can mark your car when you stop.
