I have just downloaded an email client to try with my mac and it says PARSE as one of the options. What does it mean as far as email is concerned please.
 
I suggest you contact the authors of said piece of software (which you did not bother to name). They should know the best, after all they wrote it.

Another option would be for you to read the manual. Often this is accessible in the program's Help menu. Some software developers also keep a version of this manual on their website and may even include a knowledge base database or product discussion forum for users.

Makes no sense. It has no implied meaning with regard to email.

RTM. Check the website. Ask the author.
 
Yup. Agree with what the others have said already.

That said, if you're getting no joy from the authors or any FAQ/User Guide then the minimum you should do here is give us the name of the app and perhaps a screen shot so we know what you're talking about. Feel free to reply with those, and maybe someone can help.
