Partial Dark Mode

Is there anyway to pick and choose elements of dark mode to use? I miss having a dark background to the grid-view on docked folders but I am not a fan of the darkened menu bar.

I've been using it for months and it works fine. For it to work after a reboot you need a small Automator script in your startup items which is provided if you don't want to do it yourself.
