Like so many others, I suffered several error messages during the upgrade process, I had to jump through hoops including resetting my iPhone4 to factory defaults and things like that to get it to finish.

Now it seems I don't get all the upgrade features that are supposed to be in iOS 5.0. For example:

* There is no Camera shortcut on the locking screen.

* No new notifications. Upon disconnecting my phone from the dock I get an old-style popup telling me my phone hasn't been backed up.

What's going on here? :p Has anyone seen similar behavior? (And how do I fix?)

Are you sure it updated to iOS 5? Check in the Setting App > General > About and post back what version you are running.

To get to the camera app you need to double tap the home button.

It reports 5.0, and starting the update feature reports my phone's software is current.
