Hi,
My school is giving out copies of Windows to students so I jumped on the opportunity seeing as there are some Windows games I've been dying to play.
A friend directed me to this article (Method 2) to set up Win10 on my external HDD. However, the only external HDD I have is a 2TB drive that I'm already using for backups and external storage for my Mac. I still want to use it for that, so I was planning to take all that stuff off the drive temporarily and then reformat the drive with a 500GB NTFS partition for Windows and its files. Once Windows is installed, I'd go back to the Mac side and separate the rest of the drive into a 750GB ExFAT partition and a 750GB OS X Extended partition for external storage and backups, respectively (as I have been using the drive up to now).
Is this possible? Any pointers?
Thanks
P.S. Maybe a stupid question, but will the tutorial I linked to support 64 bit versions of Windows? I need 64bit for some of the games I was hoping to install.
