partition problem

Hello all

I recently got a new hard drive. formatted it and cloned without problem...until I realized I selected apple partition map instead of GUID. Is there an easy way of fixing this? I still have my old hd intact and in an external enclosure. Thanks

I guess the easiest thing is to repeat the procedure, just as GUID this time. No harm, no foul.

would it "mess" anything up if I reformatted the new hd in the computer, installed OSX and then migrated the old hd (or clone from the old hd)?
