Evening all,

I need to stick XP on my Macbook tonight because I need certain software, like SQL Server, on the go.

What size of partition do you recommend I'd use for XP? They'll just be a few bits of software for work, and that's about it.

That depends on the size of your HD, how much data you're going to keep on the XP partition, and how much of your Mac partition you're willing to sacrifice. XP needs at least 4 GBs, so I'd probably aim for 10GB, or so if you're not storing a lot of data.

Can't believe I forgot to mention of HD size. It's a 60GB. Like I said, there will be very little on the XP partition. So I reckon about 10GB will do nicely.

Cheers.

Just started to install XP using Bootcamp, but have come across a hiccup. My Macbook keyboard becomes unresponsive during the setup of XP. I searched the forums, and the only solution I could find was pressing the shift key, which doesn't seem to work here.

Has anyone came across any other solutions?
