Ok..I have been trying to do this for a while and I keep getting the same error message."The disk cannot be partitioned, use the disk utility to repair the disk".I went to disk utility and tried to repair it but nothing happened. All of the options in first aid are highlighted except "Repair disk" so I went to "Repair disk permissions".And I got this....

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/Filesystems/AppleShare/afpLoad" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Warning: SUID file "usr/bin/setregion" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.framework/Versions/A/Resources/runner" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/Printers/IOMs/LPRIOM.plugin/Contents/MacOS/LPRIOMHelper" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Group differs on "private/etc/cups", should be 0, group is 26.

Can someone help me.I need to fix this and partition my system.

I got this when I verified the disk....

The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.

E,"Incorrect number of thread records",0)
Invalid leaf record count
(It should be 2040313 instead of 2040317)
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.
Error: Filesystem verify or repair failed.

I don't have the Boot disk handy...is it possible I could use something other than Boot Camp to do this?
