Partitioning the disk for Boot Camp?

Ok..I have been trying to do this for a while and I keep getting the same error message."The disk cannot be partitioned,use the disk utility to repair the disk".I went to disk utility and tried to repair it but nothing happened.All of the options in first aid are highlighted except "Repair disk" so I went to "Repair disk permissions".And I got this....

Can someone help me.I need to fix this and partition my system.

That's just permissions.

Verify the disk. If it comes back green, tell us. If it comes back red, boot from Install Disk 1, run Disk Utility there, and repair the disk.

I got this when I verified the disk....

The volume Macintosh HD needs to be repaired.

I don't have the Boot disk handy...is it possible I could use something other than Boot Camp to do this?
