Partner bought me the new MacBook Pro 13"

So my partner bought me the MacBook Pro 13" in exchange for my iPad Pro 12.9" and seeing him on it and me on this MacBook I can't help but feel jealously and slight remorse. I actually kind of miss my iPad Pro.
Contemplating returning this and buying him the iPad Pro he actually wanted. Thoughts?
