Hey guys, I have a weird issue that I've noticed this week, in which some of my partner's screen time is showing on my device. Would really appreciate your input.
  • I see an hour of Netflix usage when I have not watched Netflix in the past week. My partner watches it often.
  • I see several hours of another one of her streaming services (an overseas one I have never watched nor have an account for). It's showing as a website URL in my screen time, whereas she watches it through an app. I suppose this is because the app is not installed on my device.
  • I see one of her banking apps (an overseas bank that I have no connection to), also showing as as a website URL.
  • I see her VPN app (different to the one I use).
  • On the bar charts on Screen Time, I see quite a lot of grey at the top of each daily bar. E.g. I see 14 hours of screen time on one day, but the breakdown only shows a few hours of usage.
A few things to note:
  • We are not part of a "family", or connected in any way. The only connection we have is both having our Apple IDs on our "Home" and Apple TV.
  • The screen time only shows when I show "All Devices". When I go into each of my devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac), her screen time doesn't show.
  • Nobody apart from me has the passcode to my devices. It's a long alphanumeric code.
If anyone has any thoughts as to what might be causing this, would appreciate your insight!

Have you two ever shared the same Apple ID?
We've never shared the same Apple ID. Always separate. Her Apple ID is also a different country to mine. The only device we've both had our Apple IDs on is our Apple TV. Her Apple ID is also added as a resident to my "Home", but I don't think that should have any impact on Screen Time.
