In itunes, is there a way to set the party shuffle to only play a certain genre instead of having to make a playlist. Also if there is, is there a way to have it shuffle between more than one genre. This seems like it would be a neat but also obvious feature. Thanks

How is Party Shuffle even useful? I haven't been able to figure out a use for it yet. Its like random shuffle, which seems just as good for me. If you make a playlist and click on the far-left column, THEN select random shuffle, it'll give you a random playlist, but with the resulting song order listed for you.....next 10 songs.....next 72 songs.....and however many songs you put in the list.

Party Shuffle

Party shuffle is good if you don't want massive lists of playlists down the side of your screen, and people want to play the songs they like. They can drag the song into Party Shuffle and wait for it to play, rather than disrupting painstakingly concocted playlists (which they always do at parties - from experience). Party Shuffle is basically a Juke Box. But I find it rather irritating too. Don't have an Apple to hand, so I can't answer the post...just thought I'd do some defending
