iPhone 8/Plus pass code not working properly in iOS13

When I upgraded to iOS13, I noticed that the pass code entry (6-digit) seems to be malfunctioning. If I enter the code too quickly, it seems to miss a digit and I have to enter the code S-L-O-W-L-Y for it to work. I'm not fat fingering the code. I could enter it quite quickly on iOS12 with no issues at all. My wife experienced the same exact issue when she went from 12 to 13. Anyone else notice this? Anyone know of a solution? It's highly irritating. I though Apple would notice it and fix it in a patch but so far, they have not.

I have seen a few reports of that problem on the forum. I don’t recall if a solution was ever found.

Are you and your wife using a screen protector on your iPhone? Some screen protectors do not work as well as others when pressing or tapping with your finger. My iPhone 8 has a Zagg protector but even with that I have to press a bit harder. My iPad Pro has no screen protector and the presses are easier.

iOS 13 still has some weird behaviors. Maybe this is another one.
I use long numeric passcodes (longer than 6 digits) and I know I can't rapid fire them in to log in.

This is a known issue. Report to Apple.

We do use tempered glass screen protectors. I don't think that's the problem though because pass code was working flawlessly with iOS 12 with the screen protectors. The problem presented on both our phones immediately after the upgrade to iOS 13.
