Hy. I have a serious problem....The iphone updated to the new OS11 and there I set a new passcode. This night the Iphone updated something new and now I have to put in the passcode, but I do not know it anymore.
I only need my photos, is there any possibility?

Nope. It's called a passcode for a reason, you need the code to pass the screen. If I was you, I would take the phone to an apple store or a police station so that it can be returned to it's rightful owner. People don't just forget their passcode. Yes, I am accusing you of having nefarious intentions. That is the only reason someone comes to this board to ask that question.

No, thats not correct. This is definitly my iphone, but during the update I set a new passcode and I can not understand why the iphone needs again the passcode, because my fingerprint is activated..??

So I really ask you for help, because my twins werde born on the 13th and I have some photos on the iphone and this is a disaster....I can send the invoice and what else, but if there is a chance please help me...

Thanks in advance.

If you had iOS 6 you'd been in luck - if you knew what to do.

But you don't, so you're going to need to work very hard to remember that passocde. If you've forgotten your Apple ID and password you probably don't want to restore.

Basically you have a paperweight right now.

So after many wrong passcodes the iphone restored for self :(:(:( So all my photos are deleted...
I have my backup from August....

That's too bad.

I might suggest a passcode (if you continue to use one) based on digits or passphrases you will remember.

My own passcode is something that you'd really have to know me to guess. But I chose it because it's important to me and not something I am likely to forget.

Keeping to a more stringent backup schedule also helps. I periodically backup to iTunes but I also have iCloud backup on which is automated.

Thanks for your information.... I write all my friends to send me the photos back I sent them by whatsapp....

2232 works as well

In all seriousness though we have all done something similar (perhaps not with a phone) luckily you sent images out by what’s app!

I’m sure you understand the reasons people can be hostile to such a request here, people do take a chance and ask for help when simply finding a phone. Granted they may want to trace its owner with good intentions but we wouldn’t know that for sure. Plus Apple quite rightly have this all locked down tight!

Glad it was a somewhat positive if not challenging event!
