I asked the following in the incorrect forum so I will repost here

I never had a password manager and could use some help.

What are the differences between a free and paid password app password manager? How safe, reliable, and legit are they?

Any recommendations on free and paid versions?

Thanks

I use DataVault and i have been very happy with it, i tried a few others (paid and unpaid) and settled on this one. I like the customization you can do and i like that it is local to my iPhone. I tried a few others that were web based and i have difficulty opening them while at work (often do not have a strong enough signal to use data).

I like 1Password. It works across all of my devices (iMac, iPhone, and iPad) and syncs via dropbox smoothly. Only negative I have about the iOS versions is it doesn't have the password generator that the Mac version has.

Does anyone have any info on the app 'minikeepass' that is out in iTunes?

Is it related to Keepass and legit? Is it encrypted and safe? How different than Keepass? Etc

I am actually looking for something like this as well. In the past I used 1password but got rid of it too look for a better one. It was still very useful though. I might have to go back to it if i can't find a decent organizer for passwords.
