Tried to set up password protect in Notes under iOS 9.3 but could not either through Settings (which asked to "upgrade Notes) or through the Notes App (which does not offer "password protect widget" once having clicked on "share").
Please advise. Thank you.

Hi question about note app on iPhone. Is your note app turning "on my iPhone" on by default and not giving you an option to turn it off? This can be seen on note app in setting. I wish to turn it off..

Can you select something else in settings?

I have all my notes under "iCloud" section on note app and have 0 note under "on my iPhone". I want all my notes to be synced to iCloud so I was thinking to disable "on my iPhone" section. However I go to setting, there's no way to turn "on my iPhone" off because it's kind of grayed out so its on by default.

The section exists, but you don't have to use it, and it sounds like you aren't as your notes are in iCloud.
