Pausing video?

This is my first post....so first off hello to everyone.

From what I understood you could pause and restart video recording on the 3GS.

Either i'm stupid (i'm not ) or blind (i'm not) but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. When I re-press the record button it just saves the video.???? What am I missing?

I couldn't figure out how to pause it. I think all it does is just start another video. I don't remember hearing about the pausing a recording thing. I'm not saying you're wrong though, I just don't know

I might of heard or read wrong.....but it sorta su*ks if you can't pause your recording.
