The iPhone x according to apples site costs $200 more than the 8 plus for virtually the same phone as far as internals goes. On top of that the iPhone 8 plus has hour longer internet use and video play back than the x.

Kind of ridiculous that apple still has to charge $200 extra for an OLED screen nowadays just because they're finally starting to use them.

All of this being said. I still want an iPhone 10 lol.

From Apple Site:
iPhoneX: $999US
iPhone8: $699US

That would be a $300US difference.

iPhone 8 plus is significantly larger device than the iPhoneX, more realistic to compare Apples to Apples as best as you can. The iPhoneX has almost ( give or take a few millimeters ) the same size factor as the iPhone 7, with a two hour usage increase.

Not the same OLED quality as your mother's OLED. Companies should innovate to compete with Apple, instead of checking boxes based on rumors. For example, I'm still impressed with the wrap around display of the Samsung Galaxy Edge. If only they would build their own software... android OS continues to be a sad sack of hurt.

All of this being said. I still want an iPhone 10 lol.
Quite right, I'm buying three for the family yearly update.

It was really weird the way Phil talked about that:

All this drains the battery more, so how’s 2 hours more than the 7 sound?

The funny thing about that statement is if you look at the battery specs, iPhone 8 states same as iPhone 7. How's 2 hours more than the phone we just announced 20 minutes ago?

I like having the same specs as the 8 plus, but much smaller. I'm going to try for the X when it comes out for pre-order!

Whenever things smell shady at an event you know there's some bs cooking in the marketing world :D

It was really weird to me that they were comparing the battery life of the X to the 7. Turns out they shouldn’t compare it to the 8+ because the 8+ actually has better battery life. That’s not really a huge deal but it was weird how they were comparing it.

Wow thats straight off their website? Thats a sketchy breakdown,

I can already see the "iPhone x horrible battery life" threads now.

XGate... I typed it first... then second as I corrected the spelling.... meh...

Correct if you are comparing the iPhone x vs the regular 8. I was talking about the 8 plus.
Well, quit doing that.

The iPhoneX is about the same size as the 7, not the 7 plus. Very different form factor between the 7plus/8plus and the X.

PS... or you could "quite doing that" if you prefer the original spelling... mehhhhh...

lol I have to compare the X to the plus since their price points are the "closest". If you have to compare the X to the regular 8 then it would appear that the plus is head and shoulders above the regular 8 and x for what you're paying.
