Paying a bit of a premium to get one in Canada. Good idea?

Paying about $670 to get a 16GB iPad which translates to about $670US.

The thing is...when it launches here it'll probably be $550 + tax which is $620. For $50 more I can avoid waiting 3 weeks and get it now! I'd also get the full warranty, etc.

Good idea?
