Paying Apple Card with Apple Cash card.

Having a slight bit of difficulty paying the bill with the Apple Cash card.

When using the "Pay Now" feature, I get the option to pay with my bank account and then below it with the Apple Cash card. But when I try to choose the Apple Cash card, nothing happens. I press on that option and it doesn't do anything.

Is it because I need to further verify the Apple Cash card to use it? I have the correct amount of $$ on it to fully pay the balance, but it's just not letting me use that option for whatever reason(s).

Anyone else pay their Apple Cards with the Apple Cash card?

When I was setting up my payment, I don't recall there was an option to use the Cash card or maybe I just missed it or maybe I haven't verify my identify for the Cash. However, you can just transfer the balance from Cash to bank and pay with your bank.

So, below your bank account is Apple Cash with a slide button. white until you slide it to right and it turns green. Correct?

If that doesn't work there must be an Apple Cash issue for your account.

Can you make a purchase at a retailer that takes Apple Pay with your Apple Cash? Just have to make the Apple Cash card your default card in wallet. Starbucks always takes Apple Cash if I make it my default payment method. That way you would know if an Apple Cash problem or Apple Card app issue. Or, Maybe Goldman Sachs.

there was a different thread with this question. (sorry, i myself dont have my phone set up with apple cash so this is what i remember from that thread.)
you need to link an actual bank account to apple cash , then you can use apple cash to fund an apple card payment. it is not enough to just have enough money in the apple cash card which is funded usually with a credit card.

apple Card is not available in my country yet. but the ability to pay off apple Card credit charges whenever you want makes it the equivalent of a Debit card that's hooked up to credit card number. and that sounds perfect.

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and "Verified" the Apple Cash card.

So next time I pay the bill, I shall attempt to use the Apple Cash card again to pay the Apple Credit Card and see what happens.
