My daughters iphone is almost out of storage, I want to pay the .99 a month for 50GB, but is this correct you have to keep manually paying for it every month?? I cant pay for a year up front?? is this correct and if so why?? is there an easier way?? Somebody had told me to use Google photos for free,, anyone familiar with how that is used ? When she takes pictures do they go into the iphone photos app automatically and then you need to keep transferring them into the google photos app to then go into the google cloud for storage????

what dramatics? I am just asking cuz I personally have never used icloud so I don't know. I don't want to leave my credit card on my daughters account, you know how catastrophic that would be...lol

You could require your TouchId or password for purchases.
If you have an iPhone and an iCloud account too, you can set up family sharing, so the card will be on your account, her account would charge yours for the auto draft of the storage.
Plus, there's a function called "Ask to buy", so every time your daughter tries to buy something, you would get a notification asking you if you let her buy it or not.
