PB 12'' + 20'' cinama display vs PB 15''

300 $ diff but what shall I do?

Iam working a lot at campus but also at home. Biking about 10-15 km a day with my laptop. First time Apple buyer.

Good advice. I agree. If you got $$ to spend get the Apple ACD, if not go with the Dell LCD.

Thats what I would do. I wouldn't get the dell, yes it is a lot less $$ but something about the ACD makes the computer look even better.

the Dell has S-video so i can play gamecube on it while watching the bruins and red sox

Look in the deals/save section of the apple store web page. They have displays refurbished and on sale there.

I wouldn't pay the current price for the 12" PB -- a soon to be outdated machine.

I've had the 12", 15", and 17" PB's over the years; the 12" PB just feels claustrophobic: its lack of screen space, overall dim screen quality, bad sound, etc. sure, it's small, but so is the iBook, and you'll save a lot more with the latter.

Get the 15"PB if you can afford it or hold off until MWSF.
