300 $ diff but what shall I do?

Iam working a lot at campus but also at home. Biking about 10-15 km a day with my laptop. First time Apple buyer.:confused:

get the dell 20" with the 12" powerbook, or a 15" with the dell 20"

personally i would get the 12" since it weighs less

Good advice. I agree. If you got $$ to spend get the Apple ACD, if not go with the Dell LCD.

I wouldn't pay the current price for the 12" PB -- a soon to be outdated machine.

I've had the 12", 15", and 17" PB's over the years; the 12" PB just feels claustrophobic: its lack of screen space, overall dim screen quality, bad sound, etc. sure, it's small, but so is the iBook, and you'll save a lot more with the latter.

Get the 15"PB if you can afford it or hold off until MWSF.
